Fors Marsh Group is seeking a Data Management Analyst I/II to join our Data Craft Center. This role focuses on wrangling data with R, creating metadata, and cleaning survey data for diverse client projects.

The position requires 1–2 years in R-based data management, strong data wrangling skills, and a US citizenship with ability to pass a background check. Remote work within the United States is supported.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience using R and its packages for data management.
• 1–2 years of experience cleaning and wrangling data, especially survey data.
• Applicants must be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a government background check.

Responsibilities

• Creates metadata and writes R syntax from questionnaires and labels.
• Runs test data through syntax and cleans/recodes sample frames with supervision.
• Reviews teammates' code and outputs for errors on low complexity projects.
• Maintains documentation of data management processes.
• Performs basic statistical operations and data transformations.
• Troubleshoots syntax issues with minimal supervision.
• Explains technical concepts to team members in depth.
• Identifies concerns and communicates with senior staff.
• Supports cross-team reporting and knowledge sharing.
• Pursues professional development through training budgets.
