Job summary

SaidGig is seeking a data science-minded contractor to design high-quality benchmark tasks for AI training and evaluation. You will interpret complex visualizations, craft multi-step analytical questions, and provide objective, verifiable solutions with detailed reasoning.

This is a remote contract role centered on rigorous statistical interpretation and documentation. Applicants should have a quantitative degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years of related work, and strong English

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related quantitative field.
• 2+ years of experience with statistical models, data visualizations or analytical reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Bilingual English proficiency; second language preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret complex visualizations (Sankey diagrams, heatmaps, calibration curves, residual plots, etc.) with precise terminology.
• Create clear, multi-step analytical tasks requiring quantitative reasoning beyond surface-level chart reading.
• Provide detailed explanations with calculations, inferences, and modeling logic when needed.
• Use exact terminology for units, scales, axes, legends, and annotations.
• Develop tasks involving graphical reasoning, trend analysis, comparison, interpolation, and inference.
• Produce verifiable tasks and solutions to support rigorous AI training and evaluation.
• Collaborate remotely and maintain regular communication with project stakeholders.
