Job summary

CivicTN is seeking a Data Associate to bridge data and tools with grassroots groups. This work-from-home position requires living in Tennessee and may need some travel.

The Data Associate provides support for a voter engagement tool called the VAN, including data administration, basic training on field tools, and technical assistance. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills and experience working in political or nonprofit environments.

Salary ranges from $55,000 to $65,000, with benefits including health coverage and a 401k plan.

Qualifications

• At least one previous cycle volunteering or working in a political, nonprofit, labor, or community organization.
• Base knowledge of how to read and understand voter, demographic, and other data sets.
• Demonstrated commitment to racial and gender equity and record of success working with historically marginalized communities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the data pull, analysis, visualization, and presentation of election results.
• Manage user and security settings for table partners and their consultants.
• Provide training on data hygiene and data collection practices.
