Job summary

Concurrent Technologies Corporation is seeking a Data Systems Engineer to design, implement, and maintain data integrations across enterprise systems. You will develop metadata pipelines, integrate metadata with governance platforms, and design data models supporting enterprise governance and data quality.

You will collaborate with data stewards, analysts, and developers to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions, often coordinating with Power Platform and cloud services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in systems engineering, data integration, data management, IT systems support, or data platform administration.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical solutions and resolve challenges with minimal oversight.
• Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data modeling, and database relationships.
• Experience designing, developing, or maintaining data pipelines and system integrations.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and APIs/structured data formats (JSON/XML).
• Experience documenting systems, workflows, or technical processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
• Ability to obtain DoD CAC and a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain data integrations across enterprise systems and repositories.
• Develop and maintain metadata pipelines, automated workflows, and API-based data exchanges.
• Integrate source system metadata with enterprise data catalogs and governance platforms.
• Design and maintain data models including schemas, relationships, and lineage for governance.
• Map ER diagrams and data flows across business tools.
• Identify and resolve data quality and interoperability issues.
• Document system integrations, data flows, and governance metadata models.
• Collaborate with Power Platform to integrate data models and governance requirements.
• Translate business and governance requirements into technical solutions.
• Own technical workstreams from requirements through implementation, testing, and documentation.
