Assurant is offering a 12-week Data Support internship designed to give interns real-world experience by tackling business challenges and driving outcomes. The program combines hands-on work, learning, mentorship, networking, and professional growth resources within a Fortune 500 organization.

The Data Support intern will help maintain and enhance systems, analyze data, and support reporting for internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Risk/Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
Requires experience extracting and analyzing data from a variety of sources such as Excel, delimited files, fixed width files, APIs, and SQL Server databases.
Requires skills of extracting and analyzing data using a variety of methods including SQL, Excel, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

Support production applications, monitor data quality, and implement system enhancements.
Extract data from internal/external sources and deliver reports to stakeholders.
Assist in requirements definition and liaison between business and IT.
Prepare test plans and scripts, participate in UAT and QA.
Document data sources, processes, and workflows.
