Job summary

Camus Energy in Campbell, CA seeks a Data and Serving Software Engineer to build scalable analytics and orchestration components. You will work across forecasting, ML and power-flow experts to design data pipelines, storage and APIs, balancing performance and cost.

You’ll ingest real-world utility data, ensure data quality, and deliver results to dashboards and grid control interfaces, with emphasis on reliability and scalable data systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of software engineering with a strong infrastructure or platform focus.
• Experience with ML/forecasting models, training pipelines and inference systems.
• Proficiency with Python 3, Kubernetes and GCP; able to own production backend services end to end.

Responsibilities

• Shape the future of the data layer by designing and building backend storage, services, APIs and platform infrastructure.
• Manage data lifecycle from ingestion to publishing analytic results and feedback.
• Collaborate with Product, analytics and other infra engineers to maintain a coherent platform.
