Responsibilities

  • Support planning, coordination, and execution of enterprise Data Security, DLP, and Insider Threat initiatives.
  • Manage program activities, deliverables, dependencies, actions, risks, and follow-up across multiple workstreams.
  • Collect, consolidate, tabulate, and analyze data from multiple sources to support program decisions and reporting.
  • Develop Excel-based tracking, reporting, and data-management tools.
  • Analyze program data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity and data-governance policies, standards, procedures, and other written directives.
  • Coordinate reviews and approvals of policies, standards, and supporting documentation.
  • Gather information from stakeholders and translate into requirements.
  • Develop dashboards and reports for leadership and program stakeholders.
  • Support organizational change activities related to new security policies and technologies.
  • Track implementation activities and ensure actions are completed.
  • Document and standardize program processes and procedures.

We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a Senior Program Analyst – Data Security & Governance to support a strategic enterprise cybersecurity and data protection program for one of our key clients.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
Our client is a global leader in science and technology, supporting a complex and highly distributed enterprise environment. As part of ongoing initiatives focused on protecting sensitive enterprise data, the organization is strengthening its Data Security, Data Loss Prevention, Insider Threat, and broader data governance capabilities.

The successful candidate will provide program management, analysis, governance, and documentation support across these initiatives. This role combines strong program coordination and analytical capabilities with the ability to collect and interpret data, develop and maintain policies and standards, and work effectively with stakeholders across Cybersecurity, Data Governance, Technology, and the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who brings strong program and analytical skills along with a solid understanding of cybersecurity and data protection concepts.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the planning, coordination, and execution of enterprise Data Security, Data Loss Prevention, and Insider Threat initiatives.
  • Manage program activities, deliverables, dependencies, actions, risks, and follow-up across multiple workstreams.
  • Collect, consolidate, tabulate, and analyze data from multiple sources to support program decisions and reporting.
  • Develop sophisticated Excel-based analysis, tracking, reporting, and data-management tools.
  • Analyze program data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop, update, organize, and maintain cybersecurity and data-governance policies, standards, procedures, and other written directives.
  • Coordinate reviews and approvals of policies, standards, and supporting documentation.
  • Work with cybersecurity, technology, data, privacy, and business stakeholders to gather information and requirements.
  • Support the development and maturation of Data Security, DLP, Insider Threat, and Data Governance processes.
  • Develop clear reports, presentations, dashboards, and other materials for program stakeholders and leadership.
  • Support organizational change activities associated with new security policies, processes, controls, and technologies.
  • Track implementation activities and help ensure agreed actions are completed.
  • Support the documentation and standardization of program processes and operating procedures.
  • Facilitate meetings, document decisions and actions, and proactively follow up with stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve program processes, reporting, governance, and operational effectiveness.

ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated experience in program management, program analysis, project coordination, or a related discipline.
  • Strong experience collecting, organizing, tabulating, and analyzing complex data.
  • Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to manipulate and analyze large or complex datasets.
  • Strong proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Demonstrated experience writing, updating, organizing, and managing policies, standards, procedures, or comparable formal documentation.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear documentation, reporting, and presentations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple priorities and follow activities through to completion.
  • Strong stakeholder management and meeting facilitation skills.
  • Knowledge of or exposure to cybersecurity and data‑protection concepts, including Data Governance, Data Security, Data Loss Prevention, and Insider Threat.
  • Understanding of organizational change management principles and practices.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supporting cybersecurity, data‑security, or data‑governance programs within a large enterprise.
  • Knowledge of cyber operations, Insider Threat, DLP, and Data Privacy.
  • Exposure to Data Security Posture Management, DLP, or Data Classification technologies.
  • Experience tuning or supporting DSPM, DLP, or Data Classification tools.
  • Familiarity with regular expressions (RegEx).
  • Understanding of Identity and Access Management.
  • Exposure to Red Team/Blue Team activities, Threat Hunting, or broader cyber operations.
  • Experience supporting organizational change associated with cybersecurity or technology transformation.
  • Experience developing governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is an initial contract opportunity beginning as soon as possible and running through December 31, 2026, with a strong likelihood of extension based on ongoing business requirements.
The role is expected to be performed remotely, with the successful candidate available to work Eastern Time Zone business hours.
