Spotify is seeking a Data Scientist to join Discovery Mode within the Music Mission in New York. You will focus on customer engagement, instrumentation and dashboards for a self-serve product, and run experiments to improve user experience and business impact.

You’ll partner with product, engineering and user research to define metrics, build dashboards in Python/SQL/BigQuery, and share insights to influence product decisions. Remote-friendly role with US-base compensation.

Qualifications

• Degree in data science, computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics or a similar quantitative field.
• Experience with product analytics, including defining success metrics and presenting findings with implications.
• Experience using experimentation to drive product development.

Responsabilités

• Work with cross-functional teams to build the next generation of promotion tools for artists.
• Define metrics and dashboards to measure health and success of products.
• Collaborate with data scientists to test hypotheses and deliver actionable insights.
