Job summary

Spotify is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for the Music Mission, focusing on Discovery Mode. You will lead analytical initiatives for model measurement, experimentation, and campaign optimization to improve artist engagement and monetization.

You will partner with product managers and ML engineers, design experiments, and build dashboards to track health and outcomes across programs in a highly technical environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in a data science role.
• Experience measuring customer outcomes and defining KPIs.
• Ability to translate analytical insights into product decisions and communicate to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the analytical function for Discovery Mode ML squad.
• Design and run rigorous experiments to evaluate model quality.
• Develop evaluation frameworks with ML engineers to improve performance and reliability.
• Build dashboards tracking model health, metrics, and program performance.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional partners.
• Share best practices across the Product Insights community.
