Booz Allen is seeking a Data Scientist to unlock insights from large structured and unstructured data, including IoT, ML and AI challenges. You will collaborate with clients to understand questions, dig into data-rich environments, and develop models to provide actionable answers that guide strategic decisions.

The role emphasizes turning data into meaningful information, building algorithms, and using ML/NLP techniques to solve complex problems in national security and other sectors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining
• 5+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis
• Experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources
• Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses and visualization of targeted data sources
• Knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or Natural Language Processing
• Knowledge of text mining or machine learning techniques
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems

Responsibilities

• Use data science to create real-world impact across private and public sectors.
• Work closely with clients to understand questions and needs, then analyze data-rich environments to find answers.
• Develop algorithms and systems using the right tools and frameworks to turn data into objective answers for informed decisions.
