The ideal candidate has 5+ years in energy analytics, strong ML/mathematical modeling skills, and experience with Python/R, Spark, Hadoop, and SQL.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Scientist with focus on energy analytics or similar domains.
• Proficiency in Python or R and libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong knowledge of statistical modeling, ML algorithms, and data mining techniques.
• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and deploy ML models for energy forecasting, anomaly detection, and performance optimization.
• Analyze large datasets from diverse sources (e.g., smart meters, sensor networks, market data) to uncover trends.
• Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and validate model performance.
• Collaborate with domain experts to translate business requirements into DS problems.
• Communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and analytical tools for ongoing research and analytics.
