Job summary

Agile5 Technologies, Inc. is seeking a part-time Data Scientist (1099 Independent Contractor) to tackle discrete data science projects. You will analyze datasets, build predictive models, and deliver dashboards and reports for leadership.

Remote-friendly with some in-person collaboration near Fairmont, WV. The role requires 5+ years of hands-on data science experience, a relevant degree, and proficiency in Python or R, SQL/PostgreSQL, and cloud AI platforms (AWS or GCP).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of advanced, practical experience applying data science methodologies, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Proficiency in Python and/or R; SQL/PostgreSQL; experience with cloud-native AI platforms (AWS or GCP); familiarity with deploying LLMs and AI workflows.

Responsibilities

• Execute discrete, task-based data science assignments to enhance internal capabilities.
• Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends and anomalies.
• Design, build, test, and deploy predictive models and ML algorithms.
• Collaborate with software, cloud, and cybersecurity teams to integrate models.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and visual insights for executives.
