Job summary

micro1 is seeking Data Scientist contractors to join a remote team partnering with a leading AI lab. You will evaluate AI model outputs across data science, statistics, ML, and quantitative problems, and help push the boundaries of model performance with rigorous analysis.

You will craft expert prompts and reference datasets, identify methodological flaws, and deliver structured feedback to improve model capability and reliability.

Qualifications

• 1+ year as a data scientist or quant at a top company, with recent experience (past 7 years)
• Undergraduate degree from an English-speaking country
• Based in an English-speaking country
• Clear written communication of technical and statistical concepts
