Job summary

Dexcom is seeking a Senior Data Science Lead to steer the Post Market Surveillance Data team and deliver actionable data solutions for global health outcomes.

You will oversee the end‑to‑end ML model lifecycle, drive data governance, and report metrics to senior leadership, while mentoring cross‑functional teams across time zones. Strong GCP, BigQuery, DBT, SQL, Python skills are required.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 8–12 years of industry experience.
• 2–5 years of previous management or lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a global team of data scientists and engineers to ensure reliable data access.
• Oversee design, development, validation, and deployment of machine learning models.
• Guide experimentation, hypothesis testing, and statistical analysis initiatives.
• Define and implement data governance, integrity, and reporting practices.
• Drive adoption of data architecture standards and engineering best practices.
• Define and execute the data science and engineering roadmap in line with governance policies.
• Report out to senior leadership on product metrics and patient risk data.
