Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Data Science Expert to join our network of specialists, leveraging ML and statistics to train and evaluate frontier AI models. This is a fully remote, hourly contract role with flexible scheduling and 10–40 hours per week.

Ideal candidates will have strong background in supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, and big data tools like Spark and Hadoop, plus the ability to explain complex concepts in writing and deliver gold-standard solutions.

Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in a quantitative field with data analysis emphasis.
• Strong knowledge of supervised/unsupervised learning and deep learning.
• Ability to explain complex concepts in writing clearly and concisely.
• No prior AI or annotation experience required, emphasis on data science expertise.

Responsibilities

• Design Complex Challenges: craft advanced data science problems including Bayesian inference and other techniques.
• Author Ground-Truth Solutions: develop step-by-step technical solutions with Python/R, SQL, and mathematical derivations.
• Audit AI-Generated Code: evaluate model outputs using Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow for correctness and efficiency.
• Sharpen AI Reasoning: identify flawed logic and provide feedback to improve model thinking.
