Canteen North America is seeking a Data Administration Specialist to join our Melville-based team. This full-time role requires meticulous data handling, Excel proficiency, and analytical thinking to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting.

Located at 255 Pinelawn Road in Melville, NY, the position offers a Monday–Friday schedule, 9:00 am–5:00 pm, with remote applications accepted. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $24.00 per hour, and an internal employee referral bonus is available.

Qualifications

• Previous Excel experience and an analytical background are required.

Responsibilities

• Remove or resolve incorrect data and fix errors in a timely manner.
• Assist with development and maintenance of data systems.
• Perform routine reporting to assess data quality and meaning on a daily or weekly basis.
• Identify and problem-solve by quality checking data through reports and performance indicators.
• Report trends that impact the production team, company, and customers.
• Prepare final reports daily and weekly for management and production team.
• Answer phones, respond to customer emails, and provide general assistance.
• Review and promote service requests submitted by customers.
• Provide clerical support; maintain files and records.
• Prepare routine correspondence, forms, and other documents.
• Collect, verify, retrieve, and enter data.
• Operate standard office equipment.
• Complete project assignments.
• Assist in preparation and verification of materials for reports and other publications; interact effectively with staff, students, and faculty during daily duties.
• Communicate with customers to complete work efficiently and safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
