Job summary

Dynata is seeking a Data Product Engineering Manager to own the lifecycle of data products on the lakehouse platform. You will bridge business needs with technical teams to define, prioritize, and deliver trusted data products for analytics, reporting, and AI/ML use cases.

You will collaborate with data engineers, drive KPI tracking, and ensure policy compliance while fostering a data-as-a-product culture across domains.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a product management, data management, or analytics role.
• 3+ years managing data products in a modern data lakehouse or data warehouse environment.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data lineage, and metadata management.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) and SQL proficiency.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the data product roadmap aligned to business priorities and OKRs.
• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure timely and quality delivery of data products.
• Establish and track KPIs for data product usage, quality, and business value.
• Manage the data product catalog and metadata for discoverability and self-service.
• Lead data product sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management.
• Serve as primary contact for data consumers across domains.
• Drive adoption of the data-product framework and data-as-a-product culture.
• Coordinate with governance, infosec, and compliance to enforce policies.
