Job summary

Network Designs, Inc. (NDi) seeks a Data Platform Engineer to build, automate, publish, and sustain geospatial data pipelines and BI products for FAA data.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable geospatial solutions in a remote-capable role, while complying with FAA policies. Requirements include US citizenship, ability to obtain a Public Trust, and residence in eligible states.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3 years military geospatial experience.
• Minimum 4 years building geospatial visualization/BI products.
• Ability to handle sensitive or regulated information per FAA policies.

Responsibilities

• Document architecture and data flows for geospatial ETL into geodatabases.
• Develop reusable Python code using ArcGIS APIs and GeoPandas.
• Automate publishing of web services to ArcGIS Enterprise/Online.
• Manage Python environments and deployment on automation servers.
• Design refresh schedules and monitoring for ETL/publishing.
• Configure GIS server integrations and cloud resources.
• Support security assessments and FAA policy compliance.
• Collaborate with users to translate analytical needs into maps and dashboards.
• Validate data accuracy and present findings to stakeholders.
