Job summary

Silverthorne Advisory Group, LLC. is seeking a Data Integration Engineer to support defense-sector clients and enterprise data modernization.

You will work with OneStream, ERP, and reporting platforms, ensuring secure, accurate data moves across transformations in collaboration with finance stakeholders and program teams. The role is hybrid and based in the Washington, DC metro area with onsite options in Rosslyn, the Mark Center, and the Pentagon.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in enterprise data integration and related tech.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or STEM.
• Experience with APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines, batch processing or middleware.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and analysis.
• Experience with SIT/UAT, production deployments, and post-prod support.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (Azure/AWS) and data governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise data integrations for OneStream, ERP, and financial reporting.
• Define integration requirements, interface controls, mappings, and validation criteria.
• Develop, test, validate batch integrations, APIs, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud moves.
• Validate end-to-end data movement across source systems to reporting platforms.
• Perform source-to-target validation to ensure data completeness and timeliness.
• Execute three-way reconciliations to resolve data discrepancies.
• Troubleshoot interface failures, schema changes, and mapping defects.
• Synchronize master data, reference data, and metadata for reliable reporting.
• Support SIT, UAT, cutover validation, deployments, and stabilization.
• Collaborate across teams to improve interface reliability and reduce manual work.
• Prepare technical docs, mappings, runbooks, and client deliverables.
• Support ERP modernization, historical data conversions, and production cutovers.
• Monitor interfaces and identify opportunities to improve automation and resilience.
• Utilize Power BI, Databricks, Palantir, Celonis, SQL, Python for analysis and dashboards.
• Leverage AI-assisted analytics to automate reconciliation and monitoring.
