Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Applications Analyst to develop and support data ingestion workflows using StreamSets and related technologies.

You will write Python scripts for data processing, monitor pipelines, and help integrate various data sources within cloud and data lake environments. The role requires foundational cloud knowledge, Linux/Windows familiarity, and a hands-on approach to ensuring secure, reliable data flows.

Qualifications

3-5 years of experience with StreamSets or similar data ingestion tools.
Hands-on experience with Python or scripting for data processing tasks.
Understanding JSON, XML, CSV data formats and basic ETL concepts.
Foundational knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Familiarity with Linux/Windows operating systems and basic networking.

Responsibilities

Assist in development and maintenance of data ingestion pipelines using StreamSets or similar tools.
Write and support Python scripts for data processing, integration, and validation tasks.
Monitor data pipelines and production systems; identify issues and escalate as needed.
Support data ingestion solutions within cloud and data lake environments.
Collaborate with team to follow development, testing, and deployment processes.
