Job summary

U.S. FinTech is seeking a Data Governance Analyst for a full-time remote role supporting data governance across catalog, lineage and tagging within a securitization platform environment.

You will collaborate with program leads, develop SOPs and trainings, monitor governance workflows, and provide audit-ready evidence while advancing data governance maturity across domains. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in governance are required, with cloud data tools knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information management, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field
• 3+ years in data governance, metadata management and platform DevOps administration
• Hands-on governance workflow execution experience with Collibra DIP or equivalent
• Experience building governance dashboards and KPI monitoring
• Knowledge of DCAM, DAMA-DMBOK, and NIST data quality principles
• Strong communication and collaboration across business, risk and IT teams
• Awareness of AI-enabled data governance trends
• Familiarity with cloud data technologies (AWS, Snowflake) and security/privacy concepts

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to create and execute a strategic data governance roadmap aligned with securitization operations
• Manage timely execution of data cataloging, lineage, and tagging in Collibra, MS Purview, and other platforms
• Define technical design and deployment of governance tools to support enterprise objectives
• Develop and maintain SOPs, user guides, and trainings
• Onboard and support data stewards ensuring compliance with workflows
• Collaborate with compliance, risk, and audit to validate control effectiveness and prepare evidence
• Monitor health of data catalogs, lineage assets, and governance processes
• Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve user experience
• Partner to evaluate and pilot AI-driven governance solutions for enhanced productivity
• Adopt agile practices for sprint planning and delivery of governance capabilities
• Foster a growth-oriented culture aligned with ethics and compliance
