Job summary

RTX is seeking a Data Governance Integration & Automation Engineer to design scalable integration architectures and automation solutions that advance RTX’s enterprise data governance strategy.

You will work with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into reliable technical solutions, define standards, and develop reusable components across data, metadata, governance, ETL, and data quality platforms.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent, with extensive relevant experience.
• Experience in enterprise integration and data engineering.
• Experience designing REST APIs and API contracts.
• Proficient in Python or Java.
• Strong SQL and ETL development experience.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teams to align integration solutions with RTX’s data strategy.
• Design reusable integration patterns across data platforms.
• Define API contracts, data mappings, and ETL workflows.
• Develop APIs, integration services, and automation scripts.
• Automate metadata ingestion, profiling, and data quality workflows.
• Create architecture diagrams and operational runbooks.
• Review designs and provide technical direction to other engineers.
• Apply CI/CD, Git, automated testing, and deployment practices.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
