First Citizens Bank is seeking a Remote Data Governance professional to lead enterprise data quality, governance, and analytics initiatives. You will drive enhancements across the Data Warehouse, enforce data policies, and contribute to strategic data management efforts.

The role emphasizes collaboration with IT and stakeholders, creating documentation, and delivering data-driven insights using modern BI tools. Remote within selected US locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of data management/analysis experience or equivalent experience
• Experience with data governance and enterprise data warehousing
• Strong SQL and analytics skills
• Familiarity with Tableau/Power BI

Responsibilities

• Data Enhancement - Identifies and implements enhancements for the quality, management, and storage of enterprise data. Executes initiatives that improve profiling, exception reporting, and issue resolution as well as general fixes for the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Builds dashboards to modernize analytics where appropriate.
• Business Support - Enforces data policies and procedures across the enterprise. Encourages discussion and feedback from associates in order to identify areas of improvement within data management capabilities. Completes month-end validations on reporting data to ensure the quality and completeness of data prior to business use.
• Business Tactics - Facilitates initiatives that develop the Bank's data management capabilities. Assists management in creating and implementing business plans to achieve planned objectives. Maintains a strong knowledge of current and emerging technologies or trends impacting the financial service industry.
• Documentation - Creates and maintains technical documentation for the Enterprise Data Warehouse, which includes source-to-target mappings, data dictionaries, and other related materials.
