Job summary

XTB is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Core Data Platform team to co-create and develop a centralized data platform used by teams across the company. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable data integration mechanisms from various source systems, developing shared platform components and standards, and ensuring high data quality, reliability, and consistency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or related software engineering role.
• At least 1 year with MS SQL Server, SSIS and SQL Server Agent - deploying new features.
• Experience with Python and writing clean production code.
• Hands-on with Apache Spark and large-scale SQL performance tuning.
• Knowledge of data warehouse design and ETL/ELT processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement and support MS SQL Server warehouse and SSIS processes.
• Build scalable data pipelines using SQL, Python, and Spark/PySpark.
• Integrate raw data into the data platform.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
• Create IaC for infrastructure and data tooling.
• Integrate the data platform with other systems.
