Job summary

WISEcode is building a data lakehouse platform to unify fragmented food data into a trusted, explainable system. You will join as the second software engineer on The Pantry, contributing to architecture, implementation, and hands-on data engineering in an early-stage environment.

You will collaborate with our data team, shaping how data flows from ingestion to downstream applications, with strong emphasis on data quality and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a similar role.
• Proven track record designing and shipping a lakehouse or data warehouse.
• Experience with data identity and entity resolution.
• Experience running batch data pipelines with paid cloud APIs.
• Collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end lakehouse architecture and implementation.
• Build and pattern ingestion from APIs, text sources, and external databases.
• Manage identity & entity resolution across products, retailers, and dates.
• Consolidate pipelines and enable data enrichment.
• Create robust downstream connectors to feed data to services.
