MuttData is a remote-first startup building cutting-edge data and ML solutions. We are seeking a Data Engineer Semi Senior to co-develop batch and streaming pipelines, define data contracts, and guide domain teams on data modeling across our data products.

You will mentor colleagues, contribute to platform templates, and help shape ownership and best practices as we deliver scalable data infrastructures for analytics and decision making.

Qualifications

• Experience building and optimizing data pipelines.
• Experience with Databricks, Python and Spark for batch and streaming.
• Proficiency in English.
• Familiarity with BI tools Looker or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Co-develop batch and streaming pipelines and transformations on Databricks (Python/Spark).
• Define and maintain data contracts, quality rules, and data SLOs.
• Guide domain teams on data modeling and product boundaries.
• Mentor domain engineers on data product ownership and engineering practices.
• Incorporate domain feedback to improve platform templates, tooling, and patterns.
