Muttdata, a remote-first data and ML startup in the United States, seeks a Data Engineer Semi Senior to advance our data platforms and AI capabilities.

You will build batch and streaming pipelines on Databricks with Python, contribute to ML-driven forecasting, and collaborate with domain teams to define data contracts and data products.

We value ownership, mentorship, and hands-on cloud experience across AWS/GCP, Kubernetes, and BI tools like Power BI.

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Engineering, building and optimizing data pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Python and Spark for batch and streaming.
• Familiarity with Power BI or similar BI tools.
• Experience with AWS or GCP and Kubernetes in production.

Responsibilities

• Build modern ML-enabled data pipelines and scalable infrastructures.
• Contribute to demand planning and budget forecasting data models.
• Collaborate with domain teams on data modeling and product boundaries.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best engineering practices.
• Capture feedback and improve platform templates and tooling.
