BairesDev is seeking a Data Engineer (Python) to design and maintain scalable data pipelines feeding diverse sources into cloud platforms. You will bridge raw data and actionable insights, ensuring datasets are clean, reliable, and optimized for high-performance processing.

As part of a global, 100% remote team, you will collaborate with analysts and data scientists to deliver well-structured datasets that support advanced analytics and business intelligence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Proven expertise in building and maintaining data pipelines using Python.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and modeling.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS, and ETL processes.
• Deep understanding of scalable data processing and integration strategies.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize robust ETL pipelines using Python to automate data collection and transformation.
• Implement scalable data processing solutions on cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS, to handle large-scale datasets.
• Develop efficient SQL queries and data models to ensure data integrity and high accessibility for stakeholders.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing data workflows, improving performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with analysts and data scientists to provide well-structured datasets that support advanced analytics and business intelligence.
