Job summary

itD is seeking a Data Engineer IV to develop, maintain, and optimize scalable data solutions that support critical business initiatives. The role emphasizes Python, ETL, data architecture, and operational data workflows to deliver reliable data systems.

Location is Remote – PST timezone required; 40 hours/week, 3 months+ with possible extension or conversion. Benefits include medical, 401k, paid holidays, and more. Direct W2 candidates only; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional data engineering experience.
• Strong Python and ETL skills.
• Experience designing scalable data systems and data architectures.
• Experience supporting operational data workflows.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with IT teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Manage data engineering projects through full development and delivery lifecycle.
• Identify and support business initiatives from a data engineering perspective.
• Design, build, test, and maintain scalable data management systems.
• Develop, automate, maintain large-scale enterprise ETL processes.
• Build high-performance algorithms, prototypes, and data models.
• Collaborate with data architects, modelers, and IT teams to deliver goals.
