Job summary

Promevo, LLC is seeking a Data Engineer to design and optimize enterprise data pipelines and AI infrastructure across client environments, with a focus on GCP and generative AI. This remote role emphasizes agent observability, data analytics, and scalable data architectures.

You will build BigQuery analytics layers, implement medallion-like data patterns, and collaborate with cloud architects and client leads to deliver end-to-end data solutions, governance, and secure data pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent.
• 4+ years as a Data Engineer with 2+ years on Google Cloud.
• Strong hands-on with BigQuery, Dataflow/Dataproc, Pub/Sub.
• Experience in AI/ML data requirements and analytics dashboards.
• Knowledge of governance, IAM, SDP/DLP, and data security.
• Excellent technical writing and runbook/documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and streaming data pipelines on GCP.
• Implement BigQuery analytics across raw, processed, and curated layers.
• Create data integrations between enterprise repositories and external storage.
• Develop reference patterns with dbt and LookML; orchestrate with Airflow.
• Configure observability with Cloud Logging/Monitoring; support SLAs.
• Implement cost governance, tagging, and FinOps-ready datasets.
• Apply data governance, IAM, VPC-SC, SDP/DLP; ensure compliance.
• Lead knowledge transfer, write runbooks, and collaborate with client teams.
