Job summary

Clover Consulting is seeking a Data Engineer - ETL/Python Developer for a 12+ month contract, with remote work from anywhere in the U.S. and occasional travel to Illinois.

You will design and maintain enterprise ETL pipelines, build data solutions using Python, Spark, and Databricks, and ensure data quality across Snowflake, Oracle, and SQL Server. The role requires strong SQL skills, experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD, and 5+ years in data warehousing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering experience with enterprise data warehousing.
• 5+ years ETL development using Informatica PowerCenter, Teradata, Azure Data Factory, or similar tools.
• 5+ years of Python development for data engineering and automation.
• 5+ years of Teradata experience, including Teradata loader utilities.
• 3+ years of Spark-based processing (Databricks or equivalent).
• Solid SQL expertise with Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, or similar relational DBs.
• 3+ years with Snowflake using SnowSQL and Snowpark (Python).
• Experience with source control and DevOps (Azure DevOps, GitHub, CI/CD).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Periodic travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise ETL pipelines using ADF, Informatica, and Python-based frameworks.
• Build and optimize data processing Solutions with Python, Spark, and Databricks.
• Write and optimize SQL across Snowflake, Oracle, and SQL Server.
• Support data quality, governance, and auditability; collaborate with analysts and QA.
