Job summary

Spradious is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to support data integration and pipeline projects for our US-based clients. This is an ongoing, full-time engagement — not a one-off project.

The role is remote from Pakistan, with overlap into US business hours. You will design, build, and maintain production ETL/ELT pipelines, integrate data across databases and systems, and work with Airflow, Kafka, Snowflake, and other modern data technologies.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering, ETL, or data integration.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Talend, Informatica, Matillion, dbt, or Semarchy xDI.
• Production experience with Airflow or similar orchestration platforms.
• Experience with Kafka or similar streaming technologies.
• Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Databricks, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and a major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Prior experience working with US clients or teams.
• Strong spoken and written English.
• Comfortable working during US business hours.
• Self-directed, reliable, and able to own projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Designing, building, and maintaining production ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Integrating data across databases, APIs, files, and third-party systems.
• Writing advanced SQL for transformation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
• Building batch and near-real-time data workflows.
• Orchestrating pipelines with Apache Airflow (or similar).
• Working with Kafka or similar streaming/event-driven tools.
• Supporting data modeling, data quality, and warehouse integration.
• Troubleshooting pipeline and production data issues.
• Communicating directly with US clients to gather requirements and provide solutions.
• Documenting technical work and contributing to reusable integration patterns.
