Massive Rocket, a leading Braze & Snowflake agency, seeks a data engineer to harmonize customer data across systems, manage event data, and drive engagement through Braze. You’ll build data pipelines, transform events with Lambda, and collaborate with marketing and product teams to optimize personalization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, CDP Consultant or similar role.
• 4+ years of experience working with Python.
• 2+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Strong knowledge of data integration and syncing techniques.
• Experience working with event data and developing lambda functions.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Data Integration and Syncing across multiple systems.
• Develop and manage data pipelines for seamless integration.
• Monitor data flows and resolve issues promptly.
• Understand Braze’s data ingestion capabilities and integrate with data architecture.
• Work with event data to capture and analyze customer interactions.
• Develop Lambda functions to transform and enrich event data in real time.
• Enable Braze-based customer engagement personalization and triggers.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to optimize engagement strategies.
• Provide insights to drive engagement and retention.
• Learn and leverage Snowflake to strengthen the Braze-based experience.
