Job summary

PadSplit is growing its analytics platform and seeks a hands-on Data Engineer to build and maintain ingestion and transformation pipelines across Dagster (or Airflow), dbt, and Snowflake. You will work with Python, Airbyte, and AWS to support daily data flows from Postgres to Snowflake and third‑party APIs.

The role emphasizes PR-driven development, backfills, and data quality, with fully remote work and a competitive equity and bonus package.

Qualifications

• Hands-on data engineering with Dagster or Airflow and dbt.
• Proficiency in Python for large-scale data pipelines.
• AWS familiarity including S3/IAM/ECS/Fargate.
• Experience building and shipping robust pipelines via PRs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain ingestion and transformation pipelines across Dagster/Airflow, dbt, and Snowflake.
• Develop Python-based data workflows and manage Airbyte connections.
• Contribute to production monitoring, backfills, and data quality.
• Participate in code reviews and write runbooks for operations.
