Job summary

Perform is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to drive data modeling, SQL Server development, and NoSQL integration in a remote-friendly environment. You will design robust data pipelines, APIs, and data tools within an agile team, ensuring data quality and performance across applications and reporting.

Applicants should have strong SQL Server capabilities, Python scripting, and experience with Azure Data Factory and Microsoft Fabric. Remote work within PT/ET time zones is supported.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field; 5+ years delivering production data solutions.
• Strong SQL Server experience including schema design, indexing, and stored procedures.
• Experience with Python for scripting and data pipelines; familiar with NoSQL concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support data engineering across complex development initiatives ensuring models, integrations, and pipelines meet architecture standards.
• Collaborate to design and build data models, stored procedures, and database objects for apps and reporting.
• Develop and maintain SQL Server databases with schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Work with MongoDB to design document schemas and NoSQL data access patterns alongside relational workloads.
• Participate in code and schema reviews to uphold data quality, performance, and consistency.
• Develop new data pipelines, APIs, and data management tools in an agile environment with CD.
