Job summary

USI is seeking a data engineering professional to design and develop scalable data pipelines. You will work with Azure Data Factory, dbt, and Snowflake to ingest and transform data for multiple teams and products.

You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to define schemas, optimize queries, and ensure reliable data delivery while following security standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SQL programming, data modeling, and data warehousing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience building data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and dbt.
• Familiarity with Snowflake and SQL ETL/ELT patterns.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of Azure Data Factory and dbt pipelines.
• Move data from multiple systems into Snowflake using ELT techniques.
• Develop SSIS/T-SQL processes and ETL pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define tables, views, and schemas for data products.
• Design and optimize data models for performance in Snowflake.
• Monitor pipelines and troubleshoot data movement issues.
• Ensure data availability, integrity, and security.
