SpryPoint is modernizing how utilities serve their communities with cloud-native data solutions. As a Data Developer, you design and maintain reporting and analytics using PostgreSQL and Metabase to turn data into actionable insights.

You'll partner with cross-functional teams to define KPIs, ensure data accuracy, and deliver dashboards that help clients and internal teams make informed decisions. Remote-first with North America hubs and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Statistics or related field.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and SQL development.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Metabase, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Knowledge of ETL, data modeling, and data pipelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines for reporting and analytics.
• Implement and manage reporting solutions with Metabase.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define KPIs and deliver insights.
• Perform data cleansing, transformation, and aggregation.
• Monitor data pipelines for reliability and performance.
• Support data-driven decision-making across teams.
• Stay updated with new data engineering technologies.
