Job summary

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in Seattle is seeking a Data Coordinator II to monitor data collection and ensure protocol adherence for clinical trials.

You will gather, abstract, and code data from multiple sources, enter it into study databases, resolve data queries, and maintain study data quality across complex schedules.

The role can be offered fully remote; however, most positions require on-site work, with a strong collaborative environment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• BA/BS, RRA, ART, or two year degree in medical field.
• Two years of experience in medical records, cancer registry, or related field.
• Strong computer skills and experience with databases.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Work with the research team and providers to collect, abstract, and code complex clinical data from multiple sources for research subjects.
• Code and record information into study-specific electronic data-capture systems.
• Resolve data queries with minimal errors and maintain databases for research studies.
• Demonstrate understanding of study operational flow and assist with data acquisition forms.
• Collaborate with coordinators and sponsor representatives to review data recorded in case report forms.
