Job summary

GDH is seeking an experienced Implementation Engineer specializing in Cisco Nexus and Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI). You will lead data center upgrades, migrations, and deployments with hands-on implementation, troubleshooting, and customer engagement to modernize networks.

You will ensure seamless integration of Nexus and ACI environments, developing migration plans and validating designs while minimizing operational disruption for enterprise and service provider networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of practical experience supporting Cisco data center networks.
• Proven experience deploying, upgrading and troubleshooting Cisco Nexus switches and ACI fabrics.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Ethernet, routing, OSPF, BGP, VRF, multicast and high-availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the installation, configuration, migration, and upgrade of Nexus switches.
• Execute data center hardware refreshes and platform migrations within Nexus/ACI.
• Implement and validate Layer 2 and Layer 3 designs.
• Perform NX-OS software upgrades and lifecycle management.
• Support ACI fabric deployment with spine-leaf configurations.
• Troubleshoot tenants, VRFs, EPGs, contracts, and related ACI components.
• Develop migration plans, runbooks, rollback strategies, and validation tests.
• Document diagrams, migration steps, and customer reports.
