Job Overview
As a Team Lead, you will serve as an escalation point and provide technical leadership for complex network projects. While you will not have direct reports, junior engineers will rely on you for guidance and mentorship. Your role involves:
- Designing and implementing changes in ACI environments.
- Acting as a technical escalation point for troubleshooting and solution design.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external executives to ensure seamless delivery.
- Driving innovation and continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Supporting automation initiatives using Python and related tools.
Must-Haves
- Hands‑on experience with APIC, fabric setup, contracts, policies, and multi‑site.
- Ability to troubleshoot fabric discovery issues, endpoint learning problems, Static Bindings, Bridge Domains, and L3Out configurations.
- Proven experience in ACI migration and design.
- Deep knowledge of NX‑OS, vPC, FabricPath, VXLAN, EVPN.
- Configuration and troubleshooting of Nexus 2k/5k/7k/9k platforms.
- Strong understanding of OSPF, BGP, route maps, redistribution, and peering.
- Proficiency in Python for ACI migrations and automation tasks.
- Familiarity with XML, JSON, and tools like NSO, Postman, Insomnia.
- CCIE Data Center (required)
- Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience.
- Exceptional communication skills for engaging engineers and executives.
Plusses
- Experience designing high‑availability networks and failover scenarios.
- Exposure to multicast routing and advanced Nexus configurations.
- Familiarity with automation frameworks beyond NSO (e.g., Ansible).
- Prior experience in global service delivery or customer‑facing roles.
