Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture, data strategy, or large-scale data transformation.
• Deep expertise in enterprise data platforms, data warehouses, lakehouses, data governance, and integration architecture.
• Experience assessing structured and unstructured data for AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics business cases.
• Strong understanding of data operating models, governance frameworks, and organizational design.
• Experience advising executive leaders on enterprise-wide technology and data strategy.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills, including the ability to engage senior executives and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assess enterprise data environments, platforms, processes, and capabilities.
• Review data architecture and practices for governance, quality, lineage, metadata, integration, security, privacy, and compliance.
• Define a target-state data architecture and long-term modernization roadmap.
• Evaluate organizational readiness for AI and advanced analytics.
• Identify opportunities to use structured and unstructured data for analytics, automation, predictive modeling, and AI solutions.
• Establish scalable frameworks for data governance, ownership, stewardship, and decision-making.
• Lead workshops and interviews with business, technology, security, analytics, and compliance stakeholders.
• Turn technical assessments into clear recommendations, priorities, risks, and business cases for leadership.
• Develop executive presentations and strategic recommendations.
• Recommend implementation phases, investment priorities, and measurable success criteria.

We are seeking a Remote Data Architecture Strategy Lead working in the Eastern Time zone for a Kforce client. In this role, you will collaborate with senior business and technology leaders across regions to assess current data capabilities and shape a scalable strategy for architecture, governance, analytics, and AI. Compensation is determined by factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union agreements, and business needs; the range may change, and pay is not considered earned or payable until it is earned, vested, and determinable. The role is not eligible for bonuses, incentives, or commissions.
