Jazwares, LLC is seeking a Data Architect to design, build, and manage a scalable data warehouse and ecosystem that supports BI, analytics, data apps, AI, and data science initiatives. You’ll partner across departments to shape data strategy, ensuring secure, high-performing data platforms in a modern cloud environment.

The ideal candidate brings deep data modeling, ETL/ELT, and cloud DW experience, with a proven track record of leading data architecture initiatives and delivering compliant,

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Data Architect or similar role.
• 10+ years SQL and data modeling experience.
• 5+ years building data pipelines (Databricks, Snowflake, Glue, Azure Data Factory, dbt).
• 3+ years deploying code with GitLab or GitHub.
• Cloud data warehouse experience (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong data governance, metadata management, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise data architecture frameworks and standards.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for operations and strategy.
• Create data roadmaps aligned with goals and tech strategies.
• Establish principles for scalable, secure, and accessible data.
• Design and develop data integration pipelines across sources.
• Support data migration, modernization, and cloud transformation.
• Collaborate with BI teams to optimize data access and usability.
• Define data standards, metadata, and master data management.
• Provide architecture documentation and participate in reviews.
