The Data Architect will design, implement, and maintain robust data infrastructure to support data‑driven initiatives. The candidate should have a strong background in data engineering, data modeling, data processing, Python programming, and SQL/PLSQL scripting (procedures, functions, dynamic programming, etc.). This role shapes the architecture of data platform solutions by building and optimizing data models and standardizing efficient ETL processes. Involvement in database management, data quality and governance, and automation through scripting are integral to this position. Responsibilities

• Data Modeling: Develop and implement scalable data models aligned with business requirements; collaborate with data architects and analysts to optimize models for performance and analytics; review and update models for evolving needs.
• ETL Development: Design, develop, and deploy ETL processes to load data into the data lake; gather requirements from stakeholders; monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes to maintain data integrity.
• Framework, Automation & Standardization: Use Python and SQL to build data extraction, transformation, and loading frameworks; create scripts in PowerShell and Unix shell for end‑to‑end automation; develop reusable scripts to automate code deployment (CI/CD); manage IaC scripting with Python/Terraform or AWS CloudFormation; implement data governance and participate in data quality initiatives; automate code reviews following best practices.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 7+ years in enterprise‑scale data warehousing, data engineering, and data lake solutions
• 3+ years in Data Modeling (Dimensional, Normalized, etc.)
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT tools (AWS Glue, DBT, SSIS, Apache Spark, Informatica)
• 3+ years on modern columnar platforms (Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Azure Synapse)
• Extensive SQL/PLSQL scripting and performance tuning
• 3+ years Python for data engineering
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow, Control‑M, AutoSys)
• 3+ years on AWS cloud data services (Glue, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, Parameter Store, MWAA)
• Strong understanding of core infrastructure components
• Experience with Git in a team environment and agile development

Salary Range

$118,800.00 - $205,920.00
