Qualifications

• Possession of a bachelor’s degree in any major.
• Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized complex analyses of data from MDHHS databases and CHAMPS data warehouse, focusing on Medicaid encounter data.
• Monitor data quality for health plan reporting and utilization patterns for Medicaid recipients.
• Prepare, present analytical findings and compile/manipulate large data sets for research and policy decisions.
• Oversee submission and quality of data from managed care entities; conduct on-site health plan visits as needed.
