Job summary

Mutual of Enumclaw Insurance Holding Company is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to bridge raw data and business insights across the P&C value chain. You will design, build, and govern analytics-ready data assets and participate in Snowflake-based medallion architecture to enable data-driven decisions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, dashboards, data modeling, and scalable data pipelines using SQL and dbt. Remote with preference for WA/OR/ID; core PST hours required.

Qualifications

• P&C insurance industry knowledge with understanding of the insurance value chain (underwriting through claims).
• Experience designing and publishing dashboards/reports in Sigma/Power BI with data modeling for self-service.
• Proficiency in SQL; Python or similar scripting language preferred.
• Knowledge of cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred) and dbt or equivalent tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders across Product, Actuarial, Underwriting, Claims, Finance, and Distribution to define KPIs and reporting needs.
• Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations delivering trusted insights to underwriters, actuaries, claims leaders, and executives.
• Translate business needs into scalable data solutions and analyses to support decision-making.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot data/reporting issues as needed.
