Job summary

DecisionPoint Corporation seeks a Data Analyst (Reporting) to develop KPI frameworks, analyze operational data, and produce recurring performance reports for a large federal and DoD-aligned mission environment. This remote role supports PMO and engineering teams by turning raw data into actionable insights, with SLA tracking and KPI development at the core of reporting excellence.

Responsibilities include validating data, creating executive summaries, and detailing metrics for dashboards.

Qualifications

• Clearance Required: active Secret clearance or higher.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Mathematics, Data Science, or closely related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in reporting, analytics, or data analysis.
• Experience: Developing KPIs and tracking SLA performance.
• Experience: Producing weekly/monthly reports for federal/DoD or large enterprises.
• Experience: Analyzing alert logs, incidents, or performance datasets.
• Proficiency: Excel, SQL, or analytical tools for data querying and reporting.
• Understanding: KPI design, SLA metrics, and performance measurement methodologies.
• Familiarity: Dashboards/BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Grafana.
• Data quality: Data validation, reconciliation, and quality control.
• Certifications: ITIL Foundation.
• Preferred: Data analytics or BI tool certifications.
• Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative reasoning.
• Skills: Clear written and verbal communication for executive reporting.
• Skills: High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting outputs.
• Skills: Ability to identify trends, anomalies, and insights across complex datasets.

Responsibilities

• Develop KPI calculations and performance measurement frameworks.
• Track SLA performance and identify deviations or risks.
• Analyze monitoring alerts, incidents, and performance data for trends.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly analytic reports and executive summaries.
• Support dashboard teams in defining metrics, data sources, and visualizations.
• Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks across data sources.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to support operations and leadership decisions.
• Maintain reporting templates, standards, and metadata definitions.
• Identify anomalies and recurring issues; document analytic processes.
