Job summary

Borrowell is seeking a Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics Team. You will inform marketing and product initiatives and help personalize recommendations for over 3 million members.

You’ll create and manage insights, run forecasts, and deliver reporting across business partners, ensuring data is accessible and actionable for technical and non-technical teams. In this role you’ll partner with a product manager and a cross-functional pod to drive data-informed decisions and measure impact of

Qualifications

• Undergraduate (or higher) degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Science, Engineering, or Social Sciences.
• Basic knowledge of Python (numpy, pandas, statsmodels, matplotlib, seaborn) or R (tidyverse: dplyr, data.table, ggplot2…etc.)
• Proven experience interpreting data and translating analytics into business strategies.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimize data models daily using SQL and dbt.
• Deliver reporting, forecasting, and insights to guide business decisions using Looker or similar BI tools.
• Design and analyze experiments to support product and business initiatives.
• Write clean SQL queries with joins, aggregates, subqueries, and window functions.
• Partner cross-functionally to translate analytics into actionable recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
