Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Data Analyst to partner with business stakeholders, designing metrics, dashboards, and data solutions. The role focuses on data quality, governance, and monitoring, while delivering BI insights and secure access controls.

The position is remote and contract-based, with W2 benefits and competitive hourly rates. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of analytics experience and a strong foundation in SQL, Snowflake, and data governance.

Qualifications

• Experience with scripting in at least one of Python, R, Spark, or SQL.
• Experience with a business intelligence visualization tool.
• Experience querying, analyzing, and working with data languages and platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake services.
• Experience with AWS services preferred.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality management concepts and tools such as Informatica DQ preferred.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the business to translate needs into tools, metrics, and dashboards for insights and visualization.
• Drive analyses that yield actionable insights on business strategies.
• Promote and enforce data quality management principles including metadata, lineage, and business definitions.
• Collaborate with technology teams to manage security mechanisms and data access governance.
• Build and execute tools to monitor and report on data quality.
