Qualifications

• 4+ years of data engineering experience.
• 4+ years architecting data structures for model grounding and engineering pipelines.
• 4+ years with Python, Scala, SQL, and Go for high-performance data platform development.
• 4+ years with distributed systems internals, LMS trees, and data warehouse/lakehouse formats.
• 4+ years with Kubernetes cluster management and data platform operators.
• 4+ years with enterprise data strategy and streaming data schema contracts.
• 4+ years on GCP supporting AI/ML research and production delivery.
• Experience with Spark, Flink, Kafka, Ray, and orchestration engines.
• Experience architecting multi-cloud and IaC (Terraform).
• U.S. citizenship with active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of cloud-native distributed data platforms.
• Optimize distributed engines for petabyte-scale datasets under SLAs.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code to provision assets across multi-cloud infrastructure.
• Establish zero-trust security, data lineage, and automated compliance scanning.
• Design ETL/ELT pipelines using Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Cloud Run, BigQuery.
• Work with Spark, large-scale data processing and cloud data warehouses.
• Develop automation scripts and API integrations.
• Configure GCP services like Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud SQL.
