Qualifications

• Experience in cybersecurity, network administration, or systems administration with hands-on engineering.
• Experience implementing and managing security and/or network technologies in production.
• Experience with common security tools and technologies (firewalls, IPS/IDS, SIEM, EDR/MDR).
• Scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in a fast-paced MSSP environment.
• Clear written and verbal communication, ability to document designs and explain concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assess client environments against frameworks (NIST CSF 2.0, CIS Controls, ISO 27001, CMMC, CJIS, HIPAA, PCI DSS).
• Design secure solutions across cybersecurity, networking, and cloud tech.
• Configure, install, enable, and maintain security products and services.
• Research and implement solutions to technical problems in client environments.
• Maintain deployed security, network, and cloud environments for operation.
• Perform network administration tasks including client trouble tickets and design changes.
• Monitor security events and investigate suspicious activity.
• Collaborate with SOC Analysts to refine SIEM detection methods.
• Gather data, generate reports, and support clients with analysis.
